The other day I was asked which I liked better, photographing people..or photographing animals? At first I answered with no hesitation, animals! but then I quickly flash backed to this shoot and remembered all the whistling, shouting and treats to get the dogs to pay attention. I then sat there and realized they both have their ups and downs and its nearly impossible to actually choose. Just like people, animals are such beautiful creatures with a mind of their own.
Spring is finally here and the weather is warming up. This shoot was done for my cousin, since every dog owner deserves beautiful photos of their pets. I couldn’t have asked for a better day to do it than when the sun is shining down on this beautiful city.

This weeks thrift shoot contains two wonderful, playful outfits. These outfits really can make anyone seem bursting with playfulness.
A fun purple tutu that was 3.99 paired with a white lace top for also only 3.99 can really add that excitement to a boring day of running errands. Add your favorite tights and a pair of leg warmers for only 1.00 from the thrift store as well and you have a fun outfit for less than 10.00.
The second outfit was a beautiful purple shirt dress that was only 3.99 and cute white scarf and belt for 1.00 each. Its cut out shoulders add that little touch of sexy that every girl wants in an outfit, and with Sarah’s long red ombre hair all the colors really pop. You sure cant get any better than 6.00 for any outfit like this.
Keep on thrifting.

As we all know Thrift shopping has started to become very popular. Not only can you find great treasures at any local thrift store but also you save a decent amount of money in doing so. A lot of us look at thrift shopping as something only the poor might do, but if you ever step foot into one you can find out quickly that there are a lot of great items on the racks.
I decided to start a series that will show you guys what kind of awesome outfits we can make out of simple pieces found at my local thrift store. This week I found this great, super comfy sweater for only $3.99 and paired it with a nice dark blue dress pant for $3.50 and then with the yellow tag that made them half off, equaling only $1.75. So with only spending $5.74 and using a basic white tank, I was able to make this warm causal fall outfit.
Get out to your local thrift store and see what kind of amazing outfits you can put together for less than 10 dollars! More outfits to come each week.

Its been a long winter and I am getting more than anxious for the weather to warm up, but until then I figured I would do some indoor shooting of my second favorite subject. Next to the wonderful girls I photograph, these furry little loves are just as fun to shoot.

Nothing like starting a brisk winter morning off with a photo shoot :)
Todays shoot includes three great finds from the local thrift store, including my favorite find of all…this beautiful red jacket, that was only $4.95. Paired with the red jacket is a black dress that was also $4.95 and a belt that was purchased a few months ago from a thrift store for around $2.00.
For about $12.00, your favorite tights and pair of shoes you can have a great looking day or evening outfit and will pop against the winter snow. It will be a great way to get those heads turning, ladies.

Earlier last month I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot with my best friend. It wasn’t exactly my normal fashion shoot per say, but a wonderful experience in shooting with her and her boyfriends bully, Archie. My dear friend Rae is part of a Bull Terrier group on the popular Flikr site and every year they send Holiday cards to one another from all around the world. Rae and I met up in Market Square in Pittsburgh PA where we posed Arch in a prime spot where we could get some nice background bokah, as to that’s what Rae was really looking forward too in the photos. Pittsburgh was still transitioning into the holiday season, and unfortunately still no snow on the ground, but overall we had a wonderful time making fools of ourselves as we clapped and made funny sounds in public to get Archies attention.
Peace. Love.
